My Story

With a lifelong passion for fitness, health and wellbeing
I have channeled this into Frances Rayner Fitness and Wellbeing Coach, working with adults midlife and beyond. My aim is to educate and empower my clients to make good decisions about their physical wellbeing to become physically stronger and become the best version of themselves they can be. I have witnessed the decline in mobility, balance and flexibility that adults have as they age. So many factors can affect how we move and how much we move as we age, which can have a severe effect on muscle mass maintenance and bone density.
A cycle often develops whereby we become less active, leading to reduced strength, so we move even less and strength reduces even further. From the age of 35 muscle mass declines
5% per year, brought about by underlying health conditions, illnesses, sedentary lifestyle or a lack of balance in our lives. So it is never more important than midlife to start reflecting on our own personal journey and making any necessary changes so we age well. In the 21st Century we are all living longer than our ancestors, so who doesn't want to live as long as they possibly can? However, I am certain that a long life where you can move and continue to be as independent for as long as possible is everyone's dream.
